This In-Person WORKSHOP includes all materials needed to complete the project. You provide the snacks!
Workshop is for 1-4 people (additional spots can be added).
In this Introduction to Fused Glass Workshop, we will cover tools, how to cut glass, "rules" of fused glass, materials and supplies, and you will create an original "split tree" design.
Class includes instruction and materials to complete one original dish. Get a solid foundation for your fused glass skills. You will complete the initial design in class.
You will NOT leave the class with completed project. The instructor will take your decorated glass and fire them in a kiln to 1350° and return your finished project to you in 5-7 days after class.
(Great starter project! These are students' works.)
Due to the tools and glass shards used in class, this class is rated Intermediate and is suitable for kids 12+.
Instructor led workshop is approximately 60-90 minutes. Please allow an additional 30 minutes for set up and clean up. This class is led by instructor Pamela Queen. Additional kits are available for purchase that utilize the techniques taught in this workshop.
No previous glass experience is required.
Additional travel charges may apply to workshops held outside of the Crockett, TX area.
